Maternity Photography Session Silverton Oregon

Shooting a maternity photography session in Silverton Oregon is one of my favorite things to do.  (Ok, it’s all my favorite!)  But Silverton offers so many beautiful backdrops to make these photos truly amazing!  Old growth trees, quaint brick facades, covered walking bridges, flower gardens… this list goes on.

Saturday morning, I met the beautiful mama  at the city park,

and we tried a few poses in the trees. We had to fight the weather a bit, because, well… Oregon. Enough said.

As a side note, I was a bit bummed because I forgot my memory card for my canon Mark ii.  Boo! But every pro has a backup, so it wasn’t a big deal after all.  (If your photographer doesn’t have a backup camera, equipment, and shooter in case of illness, you need to rethink hiring that photographer.)

I had such a great time with Kristi, getting to know about her baby boy bump and her other kiddos.  That’s my favorite part of maternity sessions…

Getting to know who mom really is!

As we walked along, we came across some beautiful flowers, and then a bridge, and then more flowers!  I really can’t get enough of spring!  We finished the super fun shoot on the covered walking bridge down town.  Maternity photo sessions are so fun!

There is something about flowers that make a mom glow.  I just can’t get enough of them!  I would love to try a photo session in a field full of flowers, golden hour, flower crown… Oh man… I just have to reign it in!

After this beautiful session, I get to look forward to meeting her gorgeous baby boy!

Let the anticipation begin!
